Life Coaching & Leadership Development For Individuals

Where to begin…

Many of my clients start out with a nagging feeling. They feel stuck at work. They worry about the “next step” or “what it will take to break out of a soul-less job” or “what they missed in the work-world while they were raising a family” or even, “how to ask for the raise or promotion they are qualified to receive but isn’t being easily offered by the boss”.

When questions like these come up, it’s an indication that you’re in transition. Part of your old self, your old life is calling to grow into something new. You are upleveling and that is both scary and amazing.

How do you make this kind of a transition?

Should you wait for it to just happen or is there wisdom in being proactive? I’d say there is. As a coach, this is the heart of the work. When you know you’re ready, it’s time to take the next step. You know you’re in this place and ready for change if any of the following are happening in your life:

  • You have complained, wished, whined, argued or cried about the place you’re in and wish more than anything that it would change
  • You have asked God, the Universe, your family, best friend, people on Facebook or even your kids what to do and still feel dissatisfied with their answers
  • Your hungry for life’s next challenge and you have the inkling that you can handle it
  • You want more: more money, more time, more value and more of you to show up in your life
  • You believe in yourself and even if (and when) you feel like an imposter, you know you’re capable of more

These are the signs.

They don’t come on a billboard, they come in little moments. Maybe just before you fall asleep or when you wake from a dream. They happen when you see the other parents at sporting events bragging about their vacations, their new homes or even the time they spent doing absolutely nothing and loving it. They happen when you get a lift in your mood thinking about the “possibilities” for the future, before your rational mind says things like “not now” or “someday” or “I’d never be able to get that job” or “no one would hire me for that”.

These little signs are your higher self telling you it’s time to play bigger and I can help you get there.
