It was a joy to spend a weekend with Laura. I reached out to work with her after coming to a realization that the feedback from my supervisor, team, and clients were riddled with my own interpretation. I wanted to know definitely what I’m good at; what my strengths are and where I can be of service and of the greatest value to the people in my life. Boy did she deliver. After two days, not only did I walk away with a solid foundation of my own strengths, but I had a blueprint for what to look for in complementary team mates and staff. I want to create thriving businesses for my clients and to do so, I need a team around me that magnifies my efforts. Laura helped me to see what I needed to do. In the two months since our event, I have replaced staff, hired new talent, re-imagined my sales strategy, updated my web copy and increased sales. I will always be thankful for the weekend we spent together and I continue to be grateful to have Laura as my leadership coach and mentor.

I am Tim O’Neal, a manufacturing leader at the Dow Chemical Company in West Virginia Operations.  My leadership team played the Leadership Game.  From the start, it was clear that this is no game.  To my team and I, it was an experience.  The principles and laws from John Maxwell are spread throughout the discussions and the game.  We had a great game and enjoyed our short time playing.  Many of our team commented that we wish we had more time.

Laura was an excellent facilitator and enabled us to get the most out of the game and our discussions.  I would highly recommend this game to anyone that is looking to develop leadership, trust, and a stronger team.  My team frequently refers back to the experience and key takeaways.  As a result, we have already made a couple of positive changes.  We, as a team, focused on alignment of a single vision and have increased feedback across the board to each other and peer-to-peer.  I will have my team participate in the Leadership Game again and any new teams that I have the privilege to lead.

It was a pleasure to participate in Laura’s Maxwell Mastermind Group during Fall 2012. She has a great acumen for teaching and demonstrating principles of leadership, particularly from the works of John Maxwell. Her caring nature combines perfectly with her commitment to accountability. This is an “actions-to-outcomes” approach that keeps participants both engaged and motivated. I am a big fan. She is a strong facilitator and I would recommend her programs to learners and leaders alike.
